Benvoy’s story
Jo bought Benvoy for a consortium of owners, with different types of ownership so people could get involved at a level they could afford. Among them are the #TheseGirlsCan ladies, who kindly opened their syndicate to some of the yard’s other owners.
He’s by Fastnet Rock out of a Montjeu mare and is a half-brother to some lovely horses. He quickly became a yard favourite: he has the best temperament and is always willing to learn.
Benny knew nothing about jumping when he arrived, but after plenty of patient schooling he took to it. He has now won three times over hurdles, including a Grade 2, and has been placed on the Flat. Jo has high hopes for him this season.
