Jolie Baie’s story
Jolene has a famously feisty character and keeps her handlers on their toes. Underneath it all, though, she’s a big softy who loves her racing.
She began to blossom in 2023, finishing in the first four in all of her races, and capped the year by winning a maiden hurdle at Worcester by 19 lengths. She followed up at Ffos Las in May 2024, at 25-1.
The progress continued with a second at Huntingdon and a win at Lingfield. Over 18 months her rating rose by 30lb, and she won again last time out, at Fontwell.
