Ownership and Syndicates

We are a small stable which prides itself on bringing racehorse ownership to the ‘small’ owners. We know how exciting it is to go the races as an owner. So we have a number of different approaches to help people be involved.

  • Full ownership.

You buy a racehorse (or we buy one for you) and you pay all the training costs, vets fees, raceday expenses etc. This is not cheap, so perhaps you want to get together with friends (or new friends) to do this. You get all the prize money and any profit from selling the horse on.

  • Syndicate membership

The stable buys a horse and sells it to individual syndicate members (typically 10-20) You pay 5 or 10% of sale price and of the monthly training fee (c£2400) but no other costs (unless we have a serious vets bills). Raceday costs are deducted from winnings, so your monthly payment does not change.

  • Lease membership

Exactly as above, but the stable owns the horse so you just pay training fees and you get a share of 50% of the winnings.

  •  ‘Fun’ membership

You don’t actually own the horse but get many of the benefits (stable visits, being on the WhatsApp, going to the races). In effect, you are part of a supporters’ club. This costs £45 a month. Every group has a dedicated, regularly updated WhatsApp group and
whatever group you are in, you are always welcome to visit and to attend our social days.
