1. About the Service

​

Jo Davis Racing Consultancy provides online consultations offering practical advice, guidance and education on horse training, behaviour, management, rider development and related equestrian matters.

​

Consultations are based on professional knowledge and experience and are intended to assist owners and riders in making informed decisions regarding their horses.

​

2. Nature of the Advice

​

Advice provided during consultations is based on the information supplied by the client, including discussions, photographs and videos.

​

Recommendations are educational in nature and should not be considered veterinary, medical, physiotherapy, chiropractic, dental, saddle fitting or legal advice.

​

Where appropriate, clients may be advised to seek assistance from a qualified veterinary surgeon or other suitably qualified professional.

​

3. Client Responsibility

​

The welfare of the horse remains the responsibility of the owner or person in charge at all times.

​

Clients are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement any suggestions made during a consultation.

​

Jo Davis Racing Consultancy cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as every horse, rider and situation is unique.

​

4. Safety

​

Horse riding and handling carry inherent risks.

Clients must always prioritise safety and should never attempt any exercise or training method that they believe is unsafe or beyond their own or their horse's capabilities.

​

If there is any doubt regarding a horse's health or soundness, veterinary advice should be sought before undertaking training.

​

5. Bookings and Payment

​

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

​

Your appointment is confirmed once payment has been received.

​

6. Cancellation Policy

​

Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice may be rearranged or refunded.

​

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable unless exceptional circumstances apply.

​

If Jo Davis Racing Consultancy needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, an alternative appointment or full refund will be offered.

​

7. Video Reviews

​

Where videos are submitted:

​

• Clients confirm they own the material or have permission to share it.

• Videos will be used solely for the purpose of the consultation unless separate written permission is obtained.

• Videos will not be shared publicly without the client's explicit consent.

​

8. Confidentiality

​

Information shared during consultations will be treated confidentially.

​

Client information, photographs and videos will never be shared with third parties without permission unless required by law.

​

9. Limitation of Liability

​

Every effort is made to provide accurate, practical and professional guidance.

​

However, Jo Davis Racing Consultancy accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, damage or expense arising directly or indirectly from advice given or actions taken following a consultation.

​

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under English law.

​

10. Intellectual Property

​

Any written reports, notes, training plans or resources supplied remain the intellectual property of Jo Davis Racing Consultancy.

​

These materials are provided for the client's personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

​

11. Governing Law

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

​

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
