Benvoy

Benvoy was bought by Jo for a consortium of owners to share in different types of ownership, depending on what they could afford (see our syndicates page).

 

Some of the owners are the long-suffering #TheseGirlsCan ladies, who have kindly agreed to allow some of our other lovely owners into their syndicate (including men!).

Benny has run a few times on the flat and finished 3rd once.

He is by Fastnet rock out of a Montjeu mare and is half brother to some lovely horses.

He has become a yard favourite very quickly as he has the best temperament and is just the most willing to learn.

Benny was clueless about jumping when we first got him, but has really taken to it after intense schooling. He was very careful in his first race, but jumped really confidently in his second, coming 3rd in a hot novice hurdle at Wetherby.
