Come be an owner with us!

Jo is a firm believer in bringing as many people as possible into racing ownership. For a lot of people, owning a race horse is an ambition which can't be fulfilled because it is too expensive. Sometimes it can be made affordable by going into partnership with two or three like-minded 'new friends', but that still requires a substantial outlay.

So, to help people become involved, we have come up with a number of routes to ownership which have led to a large number of racing fans and horse lovers being able to be involved in the joy of ownership.

If one of these models suits you, why not come and join us.? We may have space in an existing syndicate- or perhaps we can start a new one!

Route 1: The Racing Club: (Jaja Jimmy & Time is Golden)

Members pay a small monthly fee towards

the costs of training 'Jimmy' and 'Tiny Tim'.

The horse is owned by others, but club

members get videos, news, visits, tickets to

races and an occasional social day.

Route 2: The Leasing Model (Romeo Foxtrot)

'Charlie' is owned by Jo, but is leased to the syndicate, in whose name it runs. They get the same rewards as the racing club members, but they also get a share of the prize money.

Route 3: Mixed 'Fun' and Ownership' (Benvoy)

'Benny is owned by the Ownership group of the These Girls Can syndicate, who contributed varying amounts towards the purchase and, therefore pay various amounts towards training. They get the same rewards as the leasing model but

also a share of the sales price if the

horse is sold. The 'Fun' group of

These Girls Can pay a small

monthly fee, which helps subsidise

training costs and they have the

same rewards as the racing club model.

Route 4: Joint Ownership(Indy)

Occasionally Jo goes to the sales and can't resist buying a horse. She then has to find owners to buy it and pay for its training. Jo starts by asking around existing owners if anyone would like a share and we also encourage new people to come in. So we now have 9 owners, some existing owners, some new, owning different amounts of 'Indy'.

These owners have all the rewards of full ownership .
